100 N Pantograph Grips

Shimadzu’s 100N Pantograph Grips are simple, effectives grip suitable for testing rubber, plastics and textiles with slender widths. The spring-loaded design firmly holds samples in place while the operator prepares for testing. The pantograph mechanism tightens as the test proceeds to ensure samples are securely clamped and to mitigate the risk of slipping that occurs from sample thinning.
All pantograph grips include serrated grip faces to enhance soft specimen clamping and operate over a wide temperature range (-70 to 250oC).

Open the grip faces using the knurled thumb-spring. Position the sample between the grip faces and release the lever. Repeat this process for the opposing grip. As the test proceeds, the grips will self-tighten to ensure that samples remain secured within the grips.
