Rick Sheldon, the Gas Chromatography Product Manager for Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI), received a B.S. in Human Biology from Michigan State University in 2016. Offering everything from chromatography instruments to gas generators, he has several years of experience selling to analytical chemistry laboratories across the United States. By working closely with the end users of analytical instrumentation, he developed a keen sense of what is most important to lab personnel. Rick has since transitioned into a product management role, with SSI, where his passion for customer success is better translated into support for our customers

Yuan Lin, the Product Coordinator for Gas Chromatography at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI), received her B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Fudan University in China and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. After spending decades doing primary research in cancer biology and cell biology, she went on to teach college-level chemistry and biology. Yuan has always had an enthusiasm for scientific instruments and is now continuing her work in teaching and research at SSI, specializing in Gas Chromatography techniques.
