Shimadzu’s UF-Qarray system converges the ion beam precisely into the quadrupole mass analyzer. A wider gas flow path ensures that inert particles do not interfere with the ion path. The results are astonishingly robust detection at very high sensitivities – even with complex matrices.
With our unique UFsweeper technology, voltage is applied to the collision cell to effectively sweep ions from the collision cell without deceleration. Crosstalk is virtually eliminated and high-sensitivity analysis is maintained, even at high acquisition speeds.

Overtime the focus electrodes can become soiled showing a decrease in transport efficiency and detection sensitivity.
