Error!! Pressure Sensor 3

Description: A problem with the pressure sensor (for sparge gas) of the carrier gas control unit was detected.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Pressure Sensor 2

Description: A problem with the pressure sensor (for carrier gas) of the carrier gas control unit was detected.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Pressure Sensor 1

Description: A problem with the pressure sensor (for supply pressure) of the carrier gas control unit was detected.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Sparge Gas Flow Line

Description: A problem has occurred in the sparge gas stream (pressure error).

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! O3 Gas Flow Line Sensor

Description: The pressure sensor for the ozone stream is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TN Detector Fan Stop

Description: The cooling fan of the chemiluminescence detector is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TN Detector Connection

Description: A problem has occurred with the chemiluminescence detector connection.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TN Detector Memory

Description: The memory of the chemiluminescence detector is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TN Detector Temp. Control

Description: The chemiluminescence detector temperature control is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TOC Detector Connection

Description: A problem has occurred with the NDIR connection.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TOC Detector Memory

Description: The NDIR memory is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TOC Detector Motor

Description: The NDIR motor is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! TOC Detector Temp. Control

Description: The NDIR temperature control is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Cooler Temp. Control

Description: The electronic cooler temperature control is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Furnace Power

Description: The power supply of the electric furnace is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Defect safety relay of Furnace

Description: The electric furnace safety relay is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! Main Fan Stop

Description: The TOC-L exhaust fan has stopped.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! ASI Emergency Stop

Description: An ASI-L emergency stop occurred (due to pressing of the emergency stop button).

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Deactivate the ASI-L emergency stop button and then turn on power to the instrument again.

Error!! ASI Needle Cover Open

Description: The ASI-L needle cover is open.

Resolution: Close the ASI-L needle cover.

Error!! Cooler Fan Stop

Description: The cooling fan on the electronic cooler has stopped.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. Turn on the power again, operate the instrument, and verify whether the same error occurs again.

Error!! 8port Sampler -2 Movement

Description: The OCT-L (2) is not operating normally due to entry of foreign particles in the 8-port valve, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, remove the rotor from the 8-port valve in the OCT-L (2), remove any particles found in the 8-port valve and wash the valve.

Error!! 8port Sampler -1 Position Detection

Description: The OCT-L (1) is not operating normally due to entry of foreign particles in the 8-port valve, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, remove the rotor from the 8-port valve in the OCT-L (1), remove any  particles found in the 8-port valve and wash the valve.

Error!! 8port Sampler -1 Movement

Description: The OCT-L (1) is not operating normally due to entry of foreign particles in the 8-port valve, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, remove the rotor from the 8-port valve in the OCT-L (1), remove any particles found in the 8-port valve and wash the valve.

Error!! TN Reactor Temperature

Description: The TNM-1 reactor temperature does not rise.

Resolution: Switch off power to the TOC-L main unit. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! ASI Turntable Position Detection

Description: The ASI-L turntable position could not be detected. Either the turntable is not properly seated in the rack, or some object may be blocking a position detection notch on the periphery of the rack.

Resolution: Switch off power to the TOC-L main unit. Make sure the ASI-L is properly seated in the rack, and remove any objects that may be blocking the position detection notch on the periphery of the rack. After eliminating the cause of the problem,  place the cover on the ASI-L, and switch on the power to the instrument again.

Error!! ASI Arm Horizontal Position Detection

Description: The ASI-L arm is not operating normally in the horizontal direction.

Resolution: Switch off power to the TOC-L instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated. Since the problem is unrelated to the TOC-L main unit, remove the ASI-L from the main unit, and perform operations using the TOC-L main unit alone until normal operation of the ASI-L is restored.

Error!! ASI Arm Vertical Movement

Description: The ASI-L arm is not operating normally in the vertical direction.

Resolution: Switch off power to the TOC-L instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated. Since the problem is unrelated to the TOC-L main unit, remove the ASI-L from the main unit, and perform operations using the TOC-L main unit alone until normal operation of the ASI-L is restored.

Description: The IC slider is not operating normally due to particles wedged between the moving parts, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, inspect the slider and remove any foreign particles from the slider mechanism. Then switch on the power again.

Error!! TC Slider

Description: The TC slider is not operating normally due to particles wedged between the moving parts, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, inspect the slider and remove any foreign particles from the slider mechanism. Then switch on the power again.

Error!! 8-Port Valve Position Detection

Description: The 8-port valve is not operating normally due to clogging inside of the sample injector 8-port valve, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, and remove the rotor from the 8-port valve. Remove any particles found in the 8-port valve and wash valve.

Error!! Syringe zero point detection

Description: The syringe is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! Syringe Operation

Description: The syringe is not operating normally due to clogging of the tubing connected to the 8-port valve, etc.

Resolution: Switch off the instrument, and remove any foreign particles from the line, etc. After switching on the  power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! Syringe Position

Description: The syringe is not operating normally.

Resolution: Switch off power to the instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! Furnace Temperature Sensor

Description: The oven temperature does not rise.

Resolution: Switch off power to the instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! Furnace Overheating

Description: The oven became overheated.

Resolution: With the power ON, wait approximately 20 minutes for the oven temperature to decrease then switch OFF the instrument. After switching on the power and running the instrument again, see if the same error is generated.

Error!! FLASH ROM

Description: An error occurred while writing to the memory circuit.

Resolution: Switch off power to the instrument. Contact your Shimadzu representative.

Vial type mismatch.

Description: The vial rack type set in the parameters does not match the type actually installed.

Resolution: Verify the type of vial rack installed in the ASIL, and then set the vial rack type in the "Parameters" screen.

No vial rack

Description: Operation cannot continue because there is no vial rack in the turntable.

Resolution: Install a vial rack, and then execute the operation.

Oven temperature too low.

Description: The temperature of the electric furnace has not risen sufficiently.

Resolution: Wait for the oven temperature to rise before executing the catalyst regeneration procedure.

Syringe Zero Point Correction failed.

Description: Syringe zero point correction could not be performed. Syringe is not properly installed.

Resolution: Properly install the syringe. Then execute Syringe Zero Point Correction in the "Maintenance" screen.

Unable to access the CF card.

Description: A problem has occurred with the builtin CF card used for storing data.

Resolution: Contact your Shimadzu representative as this problem requires servicing.

The CF Card is full

Description: There is insufficient free space on the built-in CF card used for storing data.

Resolution: Export the analysis data on the CF card to an external memory device because there is insufficient free space remaining on the card.

There is a possibility that the ASI Cover Sensor doesn't work.

Description: An error has occurred in the sensor fitted to the ASI-L vial cover.

Resolution: Contact your Shimadzu representative as this problem requires servicing.

Exchange the back-up battery.

Description: The battery used in memory backup has depleted.

Resolution: Contact your Shimadzu representative as this problem requires servicing.

8-Port Valve Operation Retry has occurred.

Description: A problem has occurred during 8-port valve operation.

Resolution: Servicing is required if this problem occurs frequently, so contact your Shimadzu representative.

Unable to access the USB storage.

Description: A USB memory error has occurred.

Resolution: Reinsert the USB memory. If the same error still persists, replace the USB memory device with another one.

Carrier Gas Pressure is out of range

Description: The carrier gas supply pressure has decreased below 170 kPa.

Resolution: Check the carrier gas supply source (gas cylinder) and tubing.

Counter Over- OCT2 8-Port Valve Operation Time

Description: The number of operations of the 8-port valve for OCT-L (2) has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the 8-port valve rotor for OCT-L (2). After replacement, reset the [OCT-2 8PV Ope. time] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- OCT1 8-Port Valve Operation Time

Description: The number of operations of the 8-port valve for OCT-L (1) has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the 8-port valve rotor for OCT-L (1) After replacement, reset the [OCT-1 8PV Ope. time] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- Stirrer Motor 1 (-8)

Description: The operation time of the stirrer motor has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the stirrer motor. After replacement, reset the corresponding [Stirrer] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- CO2 Absorber

Description: The usage time for the CO2 absorber has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the CO2 absorber. After replacement, reset the [CO2 Absorber] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- O3 Generator Operation Time

Description: The operation time of the ozone generator has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Perform maintenance on the ozone generator. After maintenance is complete, reset the [O3 Generator] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- 8-Port Valve Operation Time

Description: The number of operations of the 8-port valve rotor has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the 8-port valve rotor. After replacement, reset the [8PV Ope. Counts.] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- ASI tubing pump

Description: The operation time of the ASI tubing pump has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the tubing pump. After replacement, reset the [ASI tubing pump] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- IC tubing pump

Description: The operation time of the tubing pump for supplying IC reagent has exceeded the value set on the "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the tubing pump. After replacement, reset the [IC tubing pump] counter on the "Maintenance" screen.

ASI cover is open. Please close the cover

Description: The ASI-L sample cover is not installed correctly.

Resolution: Correctly install the ASI-L sample cover.

Counter Over- Syringe Stroke Number

Description: Actual number of syringe strokes performed exceeds value set in "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replace the plunger tip. Then clear the Syringe Stroke Number counter in the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- Combustion Tube Sample Injection Volume

Description: Actual volume of sample injected into combustion tube exceeds value set in "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Either perform catalyst regeneration or replace the catalyst and combustion tube. Then clear the Combustion Tube Sample Injection Volume counter in the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- Acid Volume

Description: Actual amount of hydrochloric acid used exceeds value set in "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replenish the hydrochloric acid in the acid container. Then clear the Acid Usage Volume counter in the "Maintenance" screen.

Counter Over- Dilution Water Volume

Description: Actual amount of dilution water used exceeds value set in "Maintenance" screen.

Resolution: Replenish the water in the dilution water container. Then clear the Dilution Water Usage Volume counter in the "Maintenance" screen.
