Refinery Gas Analysis

Analysis of refinery gas components are critical for ensuring proper paraffin and olefin content for quality control of chemical products and plant operation. Shimadzu’s refinery gas analyzers are constructed to be rugged and reliable with exceptional performance. Our refinery gas systems are configured per ASTM D7833 and D1945. The standard refinery gas analyzer uses traditional 1/8” packed columns for the permanent gas analysis and has a total run time of 16 minutes. The fast refinery gas analyzer uses micropacked columns for the permanent gas analysis and has a total run time of 10 minutes. Resolution requirements for C4 and C5 olefins may alter the total run time.
