MultiNA II MCE-301
Microchip Electrophoresis System
The MultiNA II delivers high-resolution, rapid nucleic acid electrophoresis with minimal sample input
Laboratories can implement capillary electrophoresis at a similar operating cost to traditional techniques, while maintaining high-quality data and taking advantage of advanced software capabilities
Traditional electrophoresis workflows can require hours of hands-on preparation and analysis. The MultiNA II MCE-301 streamlines this process, enabling high-resolution DNA and RNA analysis in a compact, automated platform. With minimal sample input and integrated data analysis, laboratories can accelerate workflows while obtaining high-quality results across applications. To keep productivity high, the MultiNA II allows samples to be loaded during an active run thanks to the newly designed sample rack. Its expanded suite of analysis functions supports a wide range of modern genomics applications, including quality assessment of next-generation sequencing libraries, verification of mRNA purity and stability, mutation detection for genome-editing workflows and diverse genotyping tasks. By combining automation, flexibility and advanced analytical capabilities, the MultiNA II empowers laboratories to accelerate discovery while maintaining exceptional data quality.

Simple and Smart Workflow
-
Designed with the user in mind, MultiNA II enables efficient, reliable analysis using simple operations
The MultiNA II is designed to fit seamlessly into any laboratory environment, with a compact 375 mm footprint that makes it easy to place, even in crowded workspaces. Its removable sample rack ensures every sample is handled, loaded and registered with accuracy, giving users confidence from the very first step. To streamline daily workflows, frequently used analysis sequences can be saved, imported and exported, allowing teams to standardize methods and accelerate routine tasks. Once samples are registered, the system takes over completely: dispensing, processing and rinsing the microchip automatically. This hands-off operation reduces manual effort, minimizes variability, and frees researches to focus on higher-value work.

The intuitive software provides clear-cut procedures for
automatic analysis, significantly increasing laboratory productivity.Intuitive data acquisition and analysis software gives researchers instant clarity and confidence at every step. Results appear in real time, allowing users to verify target information the moment data is captured. For streamlined interpretation, gel images can be easily rearranged, making complex analyses faster and more intuitive. A comprehensive peak table provides size predictions, concentration values and other key metrics: all of which can be exported as convenient CSV files for seamless reporting and downstream use. Together, these features transform routine QC into a smooth, efficient and highly reliable workflow.
Expandable Application Range
-
Simplify genome analysis with software functionality designed with applications in mind.
The MultiNA II is engineered for today's rapidly expanding molecular genomics landscape, delivering the speed and confidence that modern labs need. Designed with next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows in mind, it offers powerful software features that streamline quality control and help ensure every sample meets your standards. As RNA samples naturally degrade over time, the MultiNA II provides an added layer of assurance by calculating RNA Integrity Index (RII) values. These are an independent, reliable metric that complements concentration measurements to strengthen your QC process. To further simplify analysis, the system includes intuitive tools such as grouping analysis and automated molar concentration ratio calculations, making it easier than ever to evaluate sample quality and prepare libraries with confidence.
