Resolution: Use the constant flow pumping mode.

Resolution: Select another control mode.
ERR FLOW TOO HI

Description: A flow rate higher than 5mL/min is set on the system controller with [1: 20A] set at [OP MODE].
Resolution: Set a flow rate of 5mL/min or lower on the system controller.

Resolution: Parameter resetting is required. Contact your Shimadzu representative.

Resolution: Check the vacuum pressure of degassing unit. If the vacuum pressure is [NG], turn the power OFF once and turn it ON again. If the vacuum pressure is [OK], it is of no matter, for the degassing unit is returning to run automatically
WARN : M.PHASE-B Description: The remaining volume of pump A's (or pump B's) mobile phase is less than the alarm level.
Resolution: Replace pump A's (or pump B's) mobile phase and reset the amount.
WARN : M.PHASE-A Description: The remaining volume of pump A's (or pump B's) mobile phase is less than the alarm level.
Resolution: Replace pump A's (or pump B's) mobile phase and reset the amount.
ERROR EXTERNAL Description: An error signal was sent from the external device connected to the external input/output terminal [ERR IN].
Resolution: Inspect the external device, and eliminate the cause of the error
ERROR LEAK Description: Leak sensor has detected leakage.
Resolution: Inspect the leakage in the flow line. Wipe away any liquid around the leak sensor.
OPEN DRAIN VALVE Description: Pump discharge pressure has exceeded [P-PMAX] during purging.
Resolution: Open the drain valve before pressing PURGE . If an error message appears during auto-purging by system controller, inspect the clogging in the flow line. If no clogging is found, set the appropriate [P-FLOW] and [P-PMAX] value.
ERROR B-HOME POS Description: Pump A's (or pump B's) motor home position cannot be detected, the motor does not run, or the motor is slipping.
Resolution: Turn the power OFF and ON again, and press PUMP . If this message still appears, turn the power OFF and contact your Shimadzu representative.

Resolution: Inspect the leakage in the flow line. If no leakage is found, set the appropriate P.MIN value. Note that [P.MIN] function is not activated for first one minute of pumping.
ERROR P-MAX Description: Pump discharge pressure has exceeded the set max. pressure limit, [P.MAX]. Pumping will automatically stop, unless [S-PROT] function has been activated, in which case pumping will continue at half flow rate
Resolution: Inspect the clogging in the flow line. If no clogging is found, set the appropriate [P.MAX] value.
OUT OF MAXSTEPS Description: More than 320 steps of time program have been set.
Resolution: Delete unnecessary programs.
A-B TRANS ERROR Description: A transmission error has occurred between pumps A and B.
Resolution: Turn power OFF and contact your Shimadzu representative.
ERROR OVER HEAT Description: Interior temperature has risen to an abnormal level.
Resolution: Check to be sure that the internal fan can move, and that the rear exhaust vent is not blocked. If this message still appears, turn the power OFF and contact your Shimadzu representative.
RAM FAILURE Description: RAM error (electric failure)
Resolution: Turn power OFF and contact your Shimadzu representative.
