The world’s smallest methanizer now available for Shimadzu 2030 GCs

Activated Research Company (ARC) is excited to announce that the Jetanizer is now available through Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI) for Shimadzu GC-2030 instruments. SSI will be offering the Jetanizer through its headquarters in Columbia, MD directly to end users in the US and to Shimadzu subsidiaries throughout the world.

The Jetanizer offers drastically simple analysis of CO and CO2. Made possible by advances in 3D printing and ARC’s proprietary catalysts, the Jetanizer is the world’s easiest methanizer to use and requires no extra plumbing, heaters, gases, or toxic nickel catalysts. It installs in your FID like a normal jet to catalytically convert CO and CO2 to methane for ppb-to-100% concentration detection.

"We are excited to see the expansion of our Jetanizer technology into the latest Shimadzu GCs," said Dr. Andrew Jones, CEO of Activated Research Company. "Customers now have broader global access to the world's smallest and most capable methanizer reactor for accurate CO, CO2 and formaldehyde measurements."

“The advanced, easy-to-use Jetanizer is an ideal complement to our fast, user-friendly GC-2030, which was designed with the analyst in mind,” said Allison Mason, System GC Product Manager at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments. “We’re excited about this partnership and how it will benefit our customers looking to perform precise, high-speed analysis of volatile organic compounds.”
